Tradition Adds EOD Energy, Commodities Data to DataScope Distribution Deal


Tradition has distributed real-time data for brokered money market securities and over-the-counter derivatives via Thomson Reuters' 3000 Xtra desktop display terminals for "many years," but signed another deal at the end of 2008 to provide end-of-day prices for the same instruments via Thomson Reuters' DataScope product line, says Matthew Evans, head of data sales at Tradition in London.

The original contract to distribute end-of-day prices via Datascope included money market securities such as
