LSE: Baikal MTF Is Not Dead

In a recent story in The Financial Times, Xavier Rolet, CEO of the LSE Group, was quoted as saying, "If regulation in regards to dark pools does change it could have an impact not just on Baikal but any other dark pool. ... If [the regulators] decide they want to regulate dark pools differently or if they want to regulate internal crossing networks, it could make venues like Baikal extremely attractive or extremely unattractive."

According to an LSE spokesperson, Rolet's comments refer to all
