KNIGHT COMPLETES EDGETRADE BUY
Broker-dealer Knight Capital Group has completed its acquisition of agency broker EdgeTrade, according to officials. Under terms of the deal, Knight Capital paid $59.9 million for the broker-$29.5 million in cash and the rest in 2.3 million shares of unregistered Knight stock (DWT, Nov. 26, 2007). Users of the Knight Direct direct market access (DMA) offering can now access EdgeTrade's algorithms, including smart order execution, benchmark and participation
