Nasdaq to Offer Options
The Nasdaq Stock Market will launch an equity and index options market in the third quarter of 2007, exchange officials announced last week.
"The options market is on the verge of a transformative change, driven by a requirement of the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for quotes in increments of pennies versus nickels," says Chris Concannon, executive vice president at Nasdaq, in a statement. "The move to decimalization will shift the competitive landscape
