Overview

Oneview provides users with a view of risk at different aggregation levels across the organization. Its analytics capabilities allow for drill-down capabilities to manage and explain risk, while also driving regulatory calculations to optimize capital requirements. Today, clients need a cost-effective, cross-asset solution enabling real-time decision-making in turbulent markets. It is also cloud-native and scalable, allowing organizations to focus on strategic value.

Oneview embodies Numerix’s “front-to-risk” vision. It combines cloud-native benefits and the firm’s CrossAsset analytics, allowing clients to price manage any capital markets product accurately in real time. All Oneview’s functionality can be delivered as a managed service, offering clients additional cost savings and operational flexibility. 

Recent milestones

Over the past year, Numerix has added the following enhancements to Oneview: 

  • Added P&L explainer report, augmented the lifecycle management functionality, while enhancements to the platform’s request-for-quote (RFQ) functionality means it now supports the structured products secondary market
  • Improved user interface (UI) for optimized decision-support
  • Expanded market data service (NxDM) and automation (mostly around deployment and notifications)

Future objectives

Upcoming enhancements include: 

  • Expanding risk-based P&L attribution functionality to include the full revaluation/roll-based methodology
  • Developing asset and liability management (ALM) dashboards for asset managers to compare asset and liability sensitivities (Greeks) for hedging purposes
  • Transitioning to Tableau for improved usability and adding what-if/pre-trade analysis capabilities
  • Adding a machine learning framework for anomaly detection and data imputation
