Waters Rankings 2021: Best reporting system provider—Vermeg
Product: AgileREPORTER
“AgileREPORTER is a platform designed to be both rich in functionality and intuitive to use. With issues such as governance and audit being very much to the fore, we believe that ongoing enhancements in these areas are welcomed by our client community. Additionally, out-of-the-box, value-add features such as our Analysis Module allow users to make additional use of the platform as an open repository of regulatory data. Mention should also be made of our Professional Services team who, being comprised of ex-practitioners and qualified regulatory accountants, bring a level of expertise to the consultancy services that we deliver that ensures both speed and quality of project delivery.”
WHY THEY WON
This category has been dominated by large market data providers in the past, so Vermeg’s win is quite impressive and shows that it’s expanding its name globally, as evidenced by its 550 customers in 40 countries.
WHAT’S NEW
Vermeg has adopted dynamically scalable technologies such as Amazon Web Services Elastic Map Reduce to support scalable data processing and analysis.
AgileREPORTER’s API library has expanded to increase capabilities in areas such as external control of reporting processes and data accessibility.
All clients of the AgileREPORTER solution in Singapore went live with the New-MAS610 framework in January 2021.
WHAT’S TO COME
All enhancements necessary to support reporting firms onboard to the Bank of England’s new BEEDS portal will be made by the end of 2021.
Vermeg’s EBA product will see continued phased enhancements to support regulator-mandated changes specified as part of CRR2 including full support of both DPM 3.0 and DPM 3.1.
The vendor will extend the reporting scope of AgileREPORTER by releasing both IFR and IFPR products for the EU and UK markets, respectively.
