BST Awards 2020: Best integrated back-office platform—Financial Risk Solutions
Dublin, Ireland-based Financial Risk Solutions wins the best integrated back-office platform in this year’s Buy-Side Technology Awards, its first title across any of WatersTechnology’s awards programs. The company succeeds last year’s winner in this category, FIS.
Financial Risk Solutions offers unit pricing, investment administration, asset reporting and compliance oversight through its InvestPro suite, aimed at helping asset managers—including MetLife, Prudential and Aviva—to reduce their operational costs, increase middle- and back-office efficiencies and mitigate risk.
Over 150,000 funds are managed on InvestPro by more than 65 financial services clients worldwide. Since 2019, the service added Isle of Man-based Ardan International, Bermuda-based Monument Re, among others, to its client roster.
InvestPro automates complex fund administration processes, including unit pricing, cash allocation and rebalancing, third-party oversight, and regulatory reporting. It includes features for cash allocation and rebalancing, automating the capture of customers’ cash movements into collective funds and converting these into trade orders; a reconciliation tool; features for corporate actions and trading; accounting functionality, with its own native general ledger and book of accounts; and an asset valuations function.
InvestPro integrates with clients’ business systems to capture customer fund requests, has customizable workflows for different security categories, and links to trading platforms and settlement counterparties. It is delivered either on-premise or via the cloud.
