CSFB Readies New Version of Primetrade, Plans to Add New Instruments

NEW YORK--Credit Suisse First Boston is readying a new version of its Primetrade fixed-income, derivatives and FX trading platform to be launched early next year, and it will add several new instrument modules throughout 2001.

The bank recently added US Treasuries to Primetrade, and it will have added European sovereigns by the end of the year.

Ben Cohen, head of fixed income e-commerce at CSFB, says, "The new version of Primetrade will completely browser-based."
