For 14 days, all Peter Johnson saw was snow and his huskies' behinds. The senior vice president and head of enterprise architecture and Web services at The Bank of New York Mellon, is a veteran dogsled musher and in 1992, he took part in the Iditarod, the epic 1,150-mile Alaskan dogsled race. Facing temperatures of minus-50 degrees Fahrenheit, he fell into a crevasse, suffered minor frostbite and got a contact lens stuck to his eye. But, he says, it was all worth it for the experience.
