NYSE Amex Options Floor Opens

Until the turn of the millennium, the American Stock Exchange (Amex) was one of the major US options exchanges, but since then has steadily lost market share. The exchange was bought by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) last year and all Amex participants have been migrated onto NYSE Arca architecture.
