Algo Is Slow Go Inside BAM

While the industry raves about the possibilities available with algorithmic trading, one buy-side firm isn’t ready to jump on the bandwagon. London-based investment firm Baring Asset Management (BAM) is holding firm against the hype. BAM is running a feasibility study on algorithmic trading, and Brian Mitchell, global head of dealing and portfolio control at the firm, is clear about his lack of enthusiasm for algorithmic trading.
