Instinet Names Govoni President of US Subsidiary

Govoni's responsibilities include growing Instinet's client businesses in the Americas.

Prior to being named president, Govoni was head of US sales trading. He joined Instinet in 2012 after the Nomura Group moved some of its businesses into Instinet's platform.

Govoni also served as managing director at Nomura Securities International Inc., where he was responsible for US equity and global portfolio trading. Before moving to Nomura, Govoni held a senior sales position at Merrill Lynch.
