Liquidnet Adds Taiwanese Securities to Trading Platform

Taiwan is the 12th Asian market to be added to the Liquidnet platform.

According to Liquidnet, TWSE lists approximately 800 companies and its index has gained more than 10 percent over the past three years. 

This is the 12th Asian market that has been added to the platform, following Thailand, India and the Philippines. Liquidnet now has now access to 44 equity markets, globally.

"Our launch of Taiwan equities follows Liquidnet's successful launches of trading in Thai, Indian and Philippines equities and further demonstrates our commitment to providing institutional investors with access to large scale liquidity in the region," said Lee Porter, head of Liquidnet APAC, in a statement.
