Martin Nilsson, head of product management of Orc, talks about Orc expanding its connectivity of Nasdaq markets.

The move comes just one day after Nasdaq announced it will launch a new exchange in mid-2015, pending regulatory approval. Trading Technologies (TT) has already stated that it would offer connectivity to NFX on the opening day of trading via TT and X_TRADER platforms, in addition to all application programming interfaces (APIs) and its TTNET hosting service and Multibroker ASP solution.

"We are dedicated to evolving our electronic execution offering and look forward to providing sophisticated and powerful connectivity solutions to the exchange traded derivatives space," said Martin Nilsson, head of product management with Orc, in a statement. "We are always looking for new opportunities for our clients and are happy to support Nasdaq's new endeavor for energy contracts."
