Perseus Preps Mass-Market Precision Time-Synchronization Service

Dubbed Precision Time, the new service will be available in the first quarter of next year, and will comply with the 50 millisecond daily clock-drift standard required by FINRA Rule 7430 governing clock synchronization, compared to only nanoseconds of drift from the National Institute of Science and Technology’s atomic clock for Perseus’ premium High Precision Time service, which is already available in nine datacenter locations and is used by latency sensitive trading firms and major exchanges

CME will move clearing to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the pair have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
