After conducting an analysis of the information Eagle's clients would need to remain compliant under Solvency II, which goes in effect in 2016, the BNY Mellon subsidiary chose Interactive Data to provide the issuer and security data needed.

Eagle has developed a maintainable interface to automatically accommodate Interactive Data's pricing and reference data and map it into its enterprise data management solution.

"Taking Interactive Data's comprehensive Solvency II data feed and interfacing that into Eagle's data model means insurance firms are able to quickly and efficiently comply with this directive—something that has been out of reach for many until now," says John Legrand, Eagle's head of EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
