TMX Atrium Completes 10G North America Infrastructure Upgrade

TMX Atrium, the network subsidiary of Canadian exchange group TMX, has increased the bandwidth of its North American infrastructure to 10 Gigabits per second (Gbps), following a similar upgrade of its London network in January, to provide clients with sufficient capacity to handle rising US market data volumes.

As the result of a two-year investment program, the vendor will upgrade its connectivity between US trading centers in Chicago, New York and the New Jersey area -- including datacenters
