HFN Upgrades Routes to Software-Defined Networking, Cutting Latency, Port Constraints

Paramus, NJ-based network provider Hudson Fiber Network is deploying software-defined networking (SDN) on its existing fiber routes, which enables the vendor to reduce the amount of hardware needed by its networks and to reduce the cost of running the networks, while giving clients more flexibility in how they provision bandwidth.
