R&D spending is necessary if a company is to retain its competitive position

Denver, Colo.-based data, analytics and trading technology vendor CQG has added new test widgets to its CQG Labs web-based prototype portal, which allows existing and prospective clients to test and provide feedback on new features in development for the vendor's Integrated Client data, charting and trading desktop, and for a new mobile platform.

The latest widgets include an Orders & Positions widget that allows clients to receive trading information on mobile devices, new charting and analytics capabilities, and a US Treasury yield curve developed with API partner Arbsoft, and a spread strategy overlay widget.
