CFN, working in concert with several leading data center providers, says it can help firms drop network costs by at least 30 percent with increased speed and transparency, by moving firms beyond legacy multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) and time-division multiplexing (TDM) network architectures.

The vendor says a case study with a major North American managed services firm demonstrates Net Transform's advantages. The client, looking to more widely distribute its network access among providers and cut costs, engaged CFN to provide a fatter bandwidth backbone as well as flexibility for moving across third-party carrier hotels. The architecture redesign has thus far produced savings of 15 to 20 percent, with a two-year target of 25 percent.

"With many years of business, operational and technical experience in network design and deployment, CFN is uniquely positioned to bring advantages to organizations that have substantial network investments," says Mark Casey, CEO of CFN Services.
