Cleartrade Exchange Enables Price Discovery of OTC Derivatives

Singapore-based Cleartrade Exchange enables automatic injection of orders linked to underlying commodity price.

The service, which was developed in collaboration with broker member Freight Investor Services (FIS), allows market-makers to trade and manipulate multiple bunker fuel swaps in real time.

"The innovative technology developed by Cleartrade Exchange has enabled price discovery and trading of these contracts in a way that was not possible before in this market sector," says FIS bunker broker Ali Ersen. "This market-leading initiative provides a unique service to our clients and is enabling us to continue bringing major developments to this important global market."
