G6 Takes Deltix for Algo Trading

G6 is based in Needham, a suburb of Boston, MA.

The investment firm will use TimeBase for the maintenance of a market data warehouse, QuantOffice for strategy testing and refinement, and QuantServer for deployment in active trading.

"We have a rigorous set of functional and performance requirements due to the complex nature of our quantitative research," says Nassib Chamoun, founder and managing director of G6. "After doing an in-depth evaluation of Deltix and the alternative platforms, we concluded that Deltix was the superior solution to meet our needs. We found that Deltix will enhance our analytics and furthermore improve our time from development to deployment."
