Carpathia, Equinix Expand Alliance Into Asia-Pacific
Carpathia Hosting, a provider of managed hosting services, is now leveraging Equinix's International Business Exchange (IBX) datacenter in Hong Kong to deliver co-location, managed hosting services and cloud solutions.
The first deployment for Carpathia in the Asia-Pacific region is a part of a broader strategic alliance between both organizations and their 200 shared customers.
"The extension of our alliance with Carpathia into Hong Kong is a great example of how both companies are working jointly to help customers quickly generate revenue opportunities in new markets, without having to invest in building out their own infrastructure," says Eric Hui, Equinix's director of cloud, IT, content and digital media in Asia-Pacific. "The service mix from Equinix and Carpathia bring together consistency, scalability, data protection and compliance in a single package, making it easy for companies to do business in multiple markets."
