London-based PrizmFX is aiming to capture the growth in electronic FX trading.

MarketPrizm has announced the launch of its PrizmFX service, faciliating foreign exchange (FX) trading through connectivity between participants and liquidity pools globally.

The service offers co-location to electronic crossing networks (ECNs), positioning clients geographically close to matching engines in major financial centers such as London, New York and Singapore. Clients will also benefit from the company's connectivity infrastructure, PrizmNet, for alternate locations. The addition of PrizmFX marks another asset class that the vendor covers, along with equities, commodities and derivatives.

"The world of FX trading is changing rapidly with continued growth in electronic and algorithmic trading volumes, the opening up of the market to new entrants, and further regulatory initiatives," says Tanuja Randery, CEO at MarketPrizm. "We believe that the industry is now at a point in its development where PrizmFx can make a real difference."
