Gloss can be combined with other offerings from Broadridge, such as PROactive.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has updated Gloss, its multi-currency trade processing and settlement platform, to include exchange-traded options (ETOs).

Gloss will now support post-execution transaction processing for ETOs, in addition to its other functionality. It provides services for trade capture, the automation of end-of-day processes as well as support for margin calculation. ETOs covered include currency, equity, index and interest rate futures.

"Derivatives are now fully integrated into the investment process and we see an increased focus for industry participants to extend coverage to their client base," says Robin Kneale, head of strategy and product management for Securities Processing Solutions, International at Broadridge. "We continue to meet our commitment to provide enhanced functionality within Gloss' technology, and enable our clients and prospects to benefit from highly efficient process management of multiple asset classes through a centralized operational view."
