Instinet Adds EBBO to BlockMatch

BlockMatch was the first broker-operated dark pool to be designated as an MTF by the UK Financial Services Authority.

Instinet has announced the addition of three new matching points to BlockMatch, its dark multi-lateral trading facility (MTF).

EBBO Bid, EBBO Mid and EBBO Offer have all been incorporated into the MTF, effectively adding three new order books where prices are derived from Instinet's Consolidated EBBO Feed.
