Equinix to Build Secure DC-area Data Center
Financial institutions are familiar with Equinix's data centers in New Jersey and Chicago. Today the company announced a partnership with Carpathia Hosting, a managed hosting services provider for government agencies and enterprises, to build a 64,000 square foot data center in Dulles, Virginia.
The highly secure facility will be adjacent to Carpathia's existing Dulles vault and two miles from Equinix's Ashburn campus and is aimed at supporting industry-specific compliant solutions for federal
