Misys Automates Central Clearing Solution

clearing capital to increase
Summit FT has also been extended to allow real-time margin call management for futures and listed options.

Misys has enhanced its Summit FT platform with a straight-through processing (STP) solution for central clearing services.

As well as the STP offering, the new componentized solution offers a trade repository and cross-asset collateral and margin management for both OTC and exchange traded derivatives.

Through a partnership with MarkitSERV, single-point connectivity is offered to all counterparties, with regulation and requirements for transparent centrally-cleared models in mind.

"The evolving regulatory environment makes it difficult for financial firms to ensure they have the right systems in place in order to stay compliant," says Veronique Malbos, solution manager for Misys Summit. "Our componentized approach, along with the new Summit FT enhancements, makes it easier for clients to respond quickly to clearing regulatory requirements, increase transparency and enhance STP capabilities, while minimising risk."
