RTS Launches Risk Management System

Chicago-based RTS Realtime Systems Group has unveiled a new risk management offering, RTD Guard (Granular Universal Asset Risk Decision). The solution, which is available on more than 130 trading venues around the world, operates on an open FIX-based connectivity model that is platform-neutral. It also allows for real-time pre-trade and post-trade centralized risk controls.

As part of its open architecture firms can connect with third-party and proprietary trading platforms for internal and external passive risk evaluation and monitoring systems; event audit trail data from firms' existing risk management and compliance software; back-office uploads and downloads; and critical functions, such as cost analysis systems.

RTS also notes that firms can impose risk limits per client, account, user and instrument. Additionally, the system includes client account management with risk controls for both brokerage and proprietary businesses.
