After the credit crunch put an end to the spending spree in many Western markets last year, a large number of reference data vendors looked to Asia to expand their business. Enterprise data management vendor Asset Control has opened an office in Singapore, Cadis plans an office in Hong Kong for Q1 2009 and Eagle has opened an office in Sydney and has staff working out of the BNY Mellon Tokyo office, when needed. Asia is where vendors expect to see growing customer demand.
