IPC Pushes VoIP into the Enterprise Net

NEW YORK--Trading turret provider IPC Information Systems is slated to deliver this week a voice-over-IP (VoIP) software upgrade that will allow trading firms to include VoIP turrets in their enterprise networking infrastructures.

The software, the Alliance MX 9.0 release, governs the MX switch that can be used for IPC’s VoIP and non-VoIP turrets, say company officials. The updated software, available free to current clients with software maintenance agreements, will be part of the IQMX
