DLJ Uses Orbixtalk To Build IP Multicasting

NEW YORK--Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) has built a reliable multicasting service to distribute pricing and risk management information for fixed-income traders in New York, other US cities and London by using Orbixtalk from Iona Technologies.
DLJ turned to the object-oriented messaging system because it wanted to build a system that could handle the rapid, simultaneous distribution of information to 100 traders in New York, and more than 20 salesmen in remote offices.
