Deutsche: Not Outsourcing 5,000+ in IT

FRANKFURT--Deutsche Bank officials last week hit back at claims in the German press that the firm plans to outsource 5,000-plus IT jobs by moving them to development roles at offshore locations.

On July 28, German daily newspaper Die Welt claimed that the bank is looking to outsource or move offshore up to 5,500 jobs in technology and operations, spurred by the bank’s decision to outsource development of some human resources software--previously developed in-house--to Accenture, with the transfer
