BZW To Fund Order-Routing System Based On Tibco Software

BZW in London has agreed to fund the development of an order-routing system based on Tibco's Enterprise Transaction Express (ETX) messaging software for its equities trading operation. BZW has struck a three-way bargain with Tibco and ING Barings, which developed its Boris order-routing system using earlier versions of ETX.

Other banks and trading organizations, including Nomura Research International and JP Morgan, are monitoring the partnership with a view to taking part in the development
