NIWS Becomes Neon's Distributor In Japan Just As 'Big Bang' Gets Underway

TOKYO--New Era of Networks (Neon), based in Englewood, Colorado, has signed a non-exclusive contract with NIWS, a Tokyo-based software vendor, making NIWS the first Neon distributor in Japan. NIWS was formerly known as New Intelligent Work station systems.

With this agreement, signed late last month, Neon joins the crowd of software vendors who have high hopes for potential software sales in Japan, now that the Big Bang deregulation is underway there.

Until now, Neon has not had any local
