IBM Prepares Publish/Subscribe Challenge To Tibco

WINCHESTER, UK--In a clear challenge to Tibco, IBM is planning to offer publish/subscribe middleware with its MQSeries messaging middleware. Although product availability is not yet known, the new IBM offering could have a significant impact on the providers of publish/subscribe middleware, especially in light of IBM's close relationship with Tibco rival New Era of Networks (Neon).
The possibility exists that users might someday be able to go to IBM for enterprise-wide middleware similar to Tibco
