Instinet Begins Basis Trading in 22 German Bonds, Competing With Espeed

LONDON--Instinet Fixed Income Markets added basis trading for 22 German bonds to its fixed-income electronic transaction system last week in direct response to clients’ requirements.

Instinet Fixed Income (IFI) system users can now basis trade, simultaneously executing cash and futures, 16 deliverable and six non-deliverable German bonds.
