IBJ Signs $20M Middleware Contract With Neon

NEW YORK--In an extensive implementation valued at $20 million, Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ) will use New Era of Networks' (Neon) middleware software to link trading operations at its offices worldwide. The project appears to have been driven by executives at the Japanese bank's New York offices.

Neon and IBJ officials decline to comment upon the contract. However, the Englewood, Colorado-based Neon is expected to make an official announcement about the deal with the Japanese bank this week.
