World Bank Builds STP Bridge

WASHINGTON, D.C.--The World Bank recently deployed a front-to-back office conduit that will help it bridge the automation gap between its front and back offices, officials say.

Driven by the need to provide straight through processing (STP) for its front office trading, the Washington, D.C.-based World Bank's treasury department this summer expanded its usage of Summit Systems' back-office modules and applied them to its complicated instrument mix of bond trading, money markets, repos, mortgage
