Things Are So Bad At Telerate That Even Asian Revenues Shrink

Dow Jones Telerate's global revenue growth rates declined in the first quarter of 1996. That hardly comes as a shock. After all, this quarter's puny 3.7 percent global revenue increase marks Telerate's fifth consecutive quarter of slowing worldwide sales growth. But other news disclosed in Dow Jones' earnings results, released earlier this month, was a bit more surprising. Dow Jones told analysts that Telerate's revenues from Asia Pacific had fallen for the first time in years.
