Batterymarch To Lease Technology To Foreign Money Management Firms

Batterymarch Financial Management, the Boston money manager known for using computers to manage its $10 billion of assets, has embarked on a project to lease that technology to a small number of foreign money managers with global equities accounts. The firm has begun to overhaul the systems it has developed over 20 years, in anticipation of recruiting these clients as early as a year from now.

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
