NEW YORK—The countdown to T+1 is on, and firms now have to make wide-ranging decisions as to whether they should re-engineer their environments or automate the processes they are currently employing, according to T1xpert, which develops straight through processing and process control solutions.
Automation is the traditional approach, but the problem is that automating previously manual processes does not fundamentally change the process, according to the report.
