BofA Returns to Manhattan, Sublets Canary Wharf Space

NEW YORK--Back-office treasury staff at Bank of America will return to Manhattan in mid-2002, following the bank’s new lease agreement signed last week.

The 400 staff members, in global treasury and securities, will occupy two floors in a midtown retail complex at 100 West 33rd Street. They have been working at the bank’s back-up center in New Jersey since the World Trade Center attacks, which destroyed Bank of America’s North Tower offices.
