Scotia Capital to Deploy 350 BTTurrets

LONDON—Scotia Capital will announce a deal with BT (formerly BT Syntegra) this week to install 350 new turrets to support its trading operations, replacing the firm's legacy BT turrets.

The nearly five-year-old firm, formed when the Bank of Nova Scotia merged its Corporate Banking and Scotia Capital Markets divisions, will also deploy a further 50 browser-based turrets and is set to deploy the ITS Myriad computer telephony integration (CTI) system as of next year.
