ABN, EDS Clash Over RMDS

LONDON--A contract dispute with outsourcer EDS has put on hold an implementation of the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) platform at ABN Amro, say sources familiar with the situation.
The dispute is said to stem from EDS’ contracted service to maintain the bank’s existing Tibco-based market data infrastructure, and the work required to upgrade the platform to RMDS. It is thought that the rollout of RMDS will not happen until contract details with EDS are ironed out. Officials at EDS and ABN
