Although it may seem like a long time ago, the IT systems infrastructure problems that have beleaguered the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) serve as a lesson in how to handle the PR spin immediately after a major catastrophe such as a major systems crash or a gargantuan trading error—both of which happened at the TSE in the waning months of 2005.
