IPC's IXnet Scores Breakthroughs In Asia: VPN Services For Japan, HK And Singapore

New York-based IXnet, a subsidiary of IPC Information Systems, has signed breakthrough international agreements with telecommunications authorities and carriers in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, further evidence that national boundaries are falling away in the face of advancing global network services and deregulation of telecommunications markets.

Tokyo has always been a key city in IXnet's plan, says Bob Woog, IXnet's senior vice president of business development, planning and engineering.
