Reuters, oddly enough, has begun carrying ECN data over its network. The Island ECN is the first to be featured, with joining the service in July, Reuters subsidiary, Instinet, to the service. Eventually, Reuters plans to add all remaining ECNs to the service. In order to gain access to the new displays, subscribers will need a new breed of display templates installed on their desktops. This may be done through a special utility that is available upon request, free of charge.
