SEC Approves Nasdaq's Controversial Supermontage

WASHINGTON, DC--The Securities and Exchange Commission last week voted in favor of Nasdaq's amended Supermontage proposal. Originally introduced in October 1999, Supermontage has undergone nine amendments over the past 15 months because of concerns raised by a large contingent of the ECN marketplace, as well as consumer groups and legislators in Washington, DC.
