Tibco Enters Cyberspace; Bank Of Boston, ABN Amro Follow

Tibco is set to release Cybertib, a group of applications being beta-tested at Bank of Boston (BKB) as an interface between Tibco's Information Bus (TIB) and the Internet--and the vendor has another planned Cybertib customer in ABN Amro Bank. At the same time, Tibco is exploring other avenues onto the Net, the most noteworthy of which is an as-of-yet unnamed project internally called TIB-enabled-Java, which will program TIB technology to allow users to build applications using Sun Microsystems'
